BIE treatment for allergies

Has anyone here with an allergy or intolerance ever tried the therapy called Bioenergetic Intolerance Elimination (BIE)?

See this site for info: http://www.inht.ca/

Apparently there are quite a few holistic allergists in Canada who practice this, and I'm thinking of trying it for my nut allergy. Would love some feedback from anyone who has tried it.

BIE / inht.ca

Don't bother with BIE or INHT. It is all a bit of a fraud. Just because they are prepared to risk your life "treating" a peanut allergy, doesn't mean you should. Steer well clear.

Re: BIE / inht.ca

tried it and loved it. i no longer depend on Claritin. i've had seasonal allergies for 20 years and this is the first summer i haven't touched any medication!
my uncle experienced the same thing in Vancouver.
Highly recommend it.

Re: BIE / inht.ca

There are skeptics for everything. There are better and worse practitioners of all kinds, including medical doctors. But that doesn't mean that those methods don't help.

I personally have had many years of ill health unexplained and unsolved by anyone in the medical community that I was able to see, specialists and all. Does this mean that medical doctors are useless,...NO. But there are other ways of being healthy. I have gotten my life back through various natural methods.

I am seeing a Holistic Allergist who uses BIE and gaining much benefit from her help. The body is a complex system and so not everything is straight forward with everyone. I have a lot of underlying problems and those need to be addressed as well for the BIE to be effective. The success can depend on how skilled and knowledgable the practitioner is at problem solving and investigating. Some things are straight forward and simple to solve and others are not.

But even at that I have had many of my sensitivities cleared and no longer a problem. It is a process for me. But there are those that can go in with an allergy and in as little as one treatment have no further trouble.

The BIE practitioner I see is certified with the INHT. You can look them up at: http://www.inht.ca/
Anyone using that specific technology and method should be certified with them to be practicing and carry insurance.

If it is an anaphylactic allergy be very careful before exposing yourself to the allergen. The practitioner should recommend if not insist that you consult your doctor and retake the medical allergy tests before exposing yourself to the offender. Be safe.

But yes I have found it to be effective.

Re: BIE / inht.ca

When someone says "Don't bother with BIE or INHT" I will ask them..."Is that based on experience or opinion?" Isn't it funny how some people try to come across like experts in a subject when they have never had ANY exposure to, or have done any research in the field with (in this case) BIE. Here BIE practitioners are helping thousands of people that suffer with allergies find complete relief from all allergy symptoms. I was cleared of an anyphylactic peanut allergy and I was instructed by the BIE practitioner that I must visit my medical doctor for their approval before I ingest peanuts. Well I did, and I am eating peanuts today with no reaction whatsoever. Thank God I had enough sense not to listen to useless advice from know-it-alls.

Re: BIE / inht.ca

I completely agree with you & could not have said it any better.

I am presently receiving BIE treatments. I suffer from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) & clinical allergies.

A German Research com., has just this past Aug. 2010 discovered the cause of IBS. Mast Cells exploding a cocktail mix of protease, serotonin & the trouble maker of them all, histamine.
The reason the IBS was not previously diagnosed by G.I.'s is that they did not order a special stain to be used on the intestinal biopsy's that they ordered. IMAGINE THAT! All these years of suffering & these clowns never thought to order the stain.

Anyway, apparently food intolerances are the culprit. And in the cases of chronic IBS, which now is being taken as seriously as Celiac Disease, our intestines are seriously compromised & require time to heal, due to the low grade intestinal inflammation.

Bottom line: If you have multiple issues to heal, you will have to have more than one treatment. With BIE you can only deal with 5 allergens at a time. Even poor absorption of vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc.

My 3rd visit will tackle the clinical allergies. Placebo cannot affect this treatment. Why, bcos anaphylactic patients cannot cure themselves with mind over matter.....lets get real here when throwing out negative, ridiculous assumptions about treatments. A licensed allergy doctor has to test and give the green light before one can consume the offending foods. And placebo just does not cut it here.

I knew from the homework that I did that I would need more than 1 visit. I knew and prepared myself that 4 visits in my case would be the minimum, and a few more may be required.
To think any less would mean a person only has a few problems to deal with and I have many.

If the medical doctors had the means to cure me in their arsenal of prescription drugs, then they would have done so years ago.

I decided that I had nothing to loose (as cost is very, very reasonable) and everything to gain!

If you don't see any results, tell the practitioner. Or switch practitioners. Either way, stick with it......that is the only way to finally get the relief you desire.

The great thing about BIE is that they don't sell you a bunch of overpriced vitamins. They make suggestions of what would help you in your healing & you can buy them any where. Which is a HUGE savings in itself. Another thing is that the treatments, work immediately, so NO you do not have to spend thousands upon thousands for years of treatments.

Wish me luck, I love my cat, but I am allergic to her as well as dust & mould. And I don't want to part with her.
My next visit will be addressing these clinical allergies.
